This is a work built from a series of images of the Ancient Greek dances, where the body, subject of an exercise of the memory and the eye, acts as the key to focus on a dramaturgic writing, founded on the mechanisms of perception itself and the relationships created from it, where time becomes the narrative of the piece. The body, immersed in a deep silence, is presented in subtly different ways, engineered among similar figures, sustained by a time that lets envision itself, that let them reveal themselves in their own diversity, as if it were a focusing exercise – where there is a shuttle between the apprehension of the whole body and details of its figure in the space.
The audience, like us, acts in the piece in a relationship of indirect confrontation and that intensify over the time, through the stabilization of an alternating cadency between moments of total darkness and of light, in a line that varies in time and intensities, to immerse in a deep black that slowly is revealed, experienced – and thus amended – always in confrontation with a certain excess of the light. From blindness to the calibration of the view in the dark, in the light: the excess, the mixtures, the differences. And finally, the fall. In the same, another same.
